Senior Spotlight: Samantha

I first met Samantha when she was in middle school and we were the new family in the neighborhood. Her family was so welcoming and warm. Over the last several years, I've had the pleasure of getting to watch her grow into this beautiful young lady! So needless to say, I was so thrilled when she applied to be on Team EmpowHER so we could get to know each other better and I could document her senior year. When we sat down and discussed what our goals were for Sam's pictures, she really wanted to be sure to represent who she is at this point of her life. She wanted these to be as relaxed and authentic as possible.

We chose to start our shoot in downtown Houston and had a blast walking down Main Street, taking in all the views from the roof of parking garage and enjoying the cute downtown parks we stumbled upon. Just before the sun started to set, we made it to our next location to capture Samantha’s love for golf and her time spent on the Cinco Ranch Golf Team. We might’ve forgotten a golf ball for the photos (photoshop FTW!) and got kicked out of one of our locations, but that made for an unforgettable day spent with Samantha and her mom Criss.

Samantha is headed to Alabama in the fall, and I cannot wait to see everything the future holds for her. We will be cheering you on from Katy! Roll Tide!
