Shooting Senior Photos in Houston, every session is special, but this one was extra meaningful—because it was for my oldest daughter, Abbie! Getting to be both the mom and the photographer for her senior photography session was an experience I’ll always cherish.
From the moment we started planning, I knew this would be a session to remember. Abbie has spent years seeing my work and had a clear vision of what she wanted. We explored some of the most beautiful locations in Houston—places she had admired in my photos for so long. It was incredible to bring her dream shoot to life and capture her gorgeous style, all of which she curated herself!
Another full-circle moment? Andrea did Abbie’s makeup, which was extra special because years ago, when I first met Andrea, she did my makeup and let the girls play with some of her products. It felt like such a fun, nostalgic touch to have her be a part of this milestone too.
Of course, we had to highlight Abbie’s volleyball journey and her exciting future as a student-athlete at the Colorado School of Mines (Go Orediggers!). She’s worked so hard for this moment, and I couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishments, both on and off the court.
Abbie, capturing your senior photos was an absolute joy. I’m so excited for you and this next chapter—you are going to do amazing things!
